Chablé Hotels are deeply committed to preserving and protecting nature. Their properties are designed to exist in harmony with the surrounding environment, using natural elements from the Yucatán Peninsula. The hotels extend the surrounding landscapes in a non-invasive way, ensuring minimal disruption to local ecosystems.

At Chablé Maroma, beach vegetation was preserved, and mangroves are closely monitored to maintain optimal conservation conditions. Additionally, the coral restoration program, in partnership with OCEANUS A.C., helps restore the Mesoamerican Reef, the second-largest barrier reef in the world, by outplanting 650 live coral colonies annually.

Chablé embraces farm-to-table dining, using fresh ingredients grown on-site. Across their properties, they cultivate more than 55 different plant species, including herbs, vegetables, and fruits in traditional Mayan ka’anches (raised gardens). Their commitment to sustainability extends to their kitchens, where over 20 food items, such as tortillas, jams, sauces, and bread, are made from scratch. Chablé also partners with sustainable fisheries and is part of the “Pesca con Futuro” movement, ensuring responsible sourcing of seafood.

Water conservation is a priority at Chablé properties. Chablé Maroma operates a water recycling plant, efficiently treating and repurposing water to minimize waste. Casa Chablé utilizes a reverse-osmosis system to purify water for consumption. These measures ensure that water resources are used responsibly while maintaining high standards of guest comfort.

Chablé Hotels are dedicated to minimizing waste and eliminating plastic usage. Their properties are entirely plastic-bottle-free, saving approximately 7,000 bottles per month at Chablé Maroma and Chablé Yucatán alone. By reducing single-use plastics and implementing responsible waste management systems, Chablé ensures that its environmental impact remains minimal while maintaining a high standard of luxury and comfort.
