ABOUT THE RESORT

The Vomo Islands are made up of VOMO and the tiny island of Vomo Lailai. VOMO offers the only island resort on these stunning islands and it is one of the most luxurious resorts in Fiji. As one of the largest and most beautiful islands in Fiji, VOMO is never crowded. It is fringed with long white sand beaches on both sides of the island, plus several other small beaches, enabling you to always find your own little spot in paradise. VOMO offers a remote and stunning island experience just 15 minutes helicopter ride from Nadi International Airport or less than an hour by car transfer from the airport, connecting to a speedboat transfer from Vuda Marina. The Reef Restaurant

The Reef is VOMO’s main dining restaurant, perfectly positioned with a pretty outlook over the swimming pool and out to palm-fringed beaches and ocean vistas. Breakfast is served daily from 7.00 am to 10.30 am. VOMO’s chefs prepare delicious 3-course lunches and 4-course dinners each day, with 4 options in each course. Menus change every day, ensuring each time you are seated for a meal, there’s surprise and delight await you. Their Executive Chef, Michael Fassbender, has designed menus to suit the tropical environment, using both locally sourced and imported produce. Keeping the menu fresh, varied & light, your taste buds will be taken on a culinary journey of the Pacific Rim.

On balmy evenings guests dine poolside, at elegant candle-lit tables, under a canopy of pretty stars. VOMO Serenaders entertain with soft acoustic Fijian and international tunes to enhance your dining experience. The Rocks Restaurant

Located on the western tip of the island, overlooking the little island of Vomo Lailai, The Rocks Restaurant offers modern dining with majestic views. The Rocks is VOMO’s very chic beach club for adult guests over 16 years. Rocks Restaurant is open daily from 1pm to 4pm for lunch with a grazing menu of delicious selections, perfect for poolside dining. On Thursday and Sunday evenings, the Chefs prepare a menu that’s inspired by Indian, Vietnamese, Cambodian and Thai flavors. Guests will work their way through a selection of items they choose from the menus, sharing plates together, exploring amazing Asian flavors.

Day Trips Off Island

When you’ve done with luxurious lazing on the sun lounge and your adventurous spirit stirs within, ask the VOMO family about the off island trips available. Whether it’s surfing, fishing, outer reef snorkeling, scuba diving, visits to caves or a surreal experience with Cloud 9 there’s an adventure for every day of your stay. For an awesome excursion, only between May and October, they have access to snorkeling with Manta Rays in the Yasawa Islands. The Vomo Lailai day picnic to its little sister island across the way is always enjoyed. You’ll have an entire island to yourselves. Just you, some sun loungers, a gourmet picnic and a two way radio, to call when you want to be rescued. This is ‘Survivor’ luxury style!
