ABOUT THE RESORT

Found in the valley between the slopes of Mount Kenya and the peaks of the Aberdares Mountains. Simple, chic, and modern Solio Lodge embraces the vegetation in its surrounding. There are only five cottages to ensure an intimate accommodation, each cottage is surrounded by greenery in the sanctuary. It is the ideal place for a family vacation.

Bush Breakfast

Sundowners

With a refreshing drink and homemade snacks, enjoy the different shades on the horizon, from glowing pink to orange skies. Enjoy the magical experience of watching rhinos or giraffes pass by.

Game Drives

The wildlife is abundant, which makes it easy to spot lots of animals on your journey, four of the Big Five will be easy to see. It is the elephant that has been fenced out because of the conservation program for the endangered black rhino.

Horseback Riding

Aberdare National Park

It is 767 km2 and has altitudes of up to 4,000 meters above sea level. It has majestic peaks, moorlands, and dramatic waterfalls. It is a heaven for leopards, lions, elephants, buffalo, red duiker, sun, bushbuck, Kenya’s, black rhino and an abundance of monkeys.

Helicopter
